Environmental monitoring is critical to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements to protect and sustainably manage our natural resources. Information gathered through environmental monitoring is important to make informed decisions how our activities are affecting the aquatic habitats and riparian areas from industrial, oil and gas and other resource development activities.
Kaien Safety Group provides a science-based, comprehensive environmental monitoring program for understanding environmental impacts to ensure the natural resources are developed responsibly. The purpose of the program is to monitor environmental parameters that are affect natural ecosystems. Kaien has the capacity to design, undertake and analyze management and monitoring programs for aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems, as well as for water quality.
Our staff have developed and implemented monitoring programs in the Northwest Coast of BC, and have also advised clients on approaches, protocols, and appropriate designs for long-term monitoring.
